On-the-Job Experience
You will engage in diverse finance and accounting roles that foster business skills, expand your knowledge, and involve you in significant initiatives and projects – all of which prepare you for advancing positions in finance and other areas within the company. By the end of the program, you will have gained meaningful accounting and finance experience and valuable knowledge in the global agribusiness sector.

 

Mentorship and Support 
Richardson offers comprehensive mentorship and support to help you excel in both the CPA curriculum and our CPA Development Program, which includes:

• An assigned Richardson mentor, approved by the CPA

• CPA lunch-and-learn sessions and support workshops

• Financial assistance for the CPA program and the Densmore Consulting CFE prep course

Networking
Working at Richardson alongside a diverse team of professionals provides regular networking opportunities with colleagues pursuing their CPA designation and individuals from various departments.

Some of the unique networking opportunities include:

• Planned networking functions organized by Richardson, CPA Manitoba, and college/university events

• Building key relationships within our expansive finance team 

• Collaborating across different areas of our business

• Touring one of our operating facilities* 

• Meeting one-on-one with a Richardson Vice-President, Finance*
